Grandma Irene lived to be 102 years old!! I was fortunate enough spend time with her in Minnesota before the angels carried her away in October 2014.
She was a special woman that emitted a gentle spirit, yet ruled gracefully with an iron fist, or so I've been told. Her history was amazing with all the huge changes she had witnessed from 1912 to 2014.
... I just wish the joy she shared could have been felt by the world. We'd be a much better place.
I was inspired to write this memorial dedication before she passed, and even told her about it. Grandma held my hand, and with a delicate, but tired voice, said to me, "I'll get to hear it when I'm up in Heaven."
Good-bye Grandma...for now.
